We do know there’s a notion in the academic world called “science diplomacy”. One of its meanings relates to peaceful cooperation for the sake of good despite cross-border military conflicts.
I fully understand that this SM3D community sincerely serves that cause for a peaceful world, only by using our brains, hard work, and humanistic values.
This message is to welcome Dr. Fatemeh Kianfar from Iran to our community, participating in our current research projects. More than that we do pray for a faster restoration of peace in the Middle East.
Dr. Kianfar’s participation takes place right after the arrival of bayesvl v1.0.0, shedding the six-year “beta” skin [1]. We all warmly wish Dr. Kianfar health, safety, and fruitful cooperation with the BMF analytics community, following the philosophy set out at the beginning of this very community (written in the early sentences of the introduction of its methodological book [2]).
