To support researchers in identifying suitable opportunities for collaboration, we have compiled a list of Bayesian Mindsponge Framework (BMF) Collaborative Projects currently open for registration as of 3 August 2025. All listed projects employ BMF-based analytical methods and are designed to facilitate inclusive and impactful scholarly engagement.
We warmly invite interested researchers—particularly Early Career Researchers (ECRs) and those from low-resource settings—to explore these opportunities and join us in advancing innovative, interdisciplinary research grounded in the BMF approach. These projects’ coordinating role is assumed by Dr. Minh-Hoang Nguyen at the time of this call (and until further notice).

For those who are willing to participate, please follow the steps of registration as mentioned below:
- Create an account on the website (preferably using an institutional email).
- Comment your name, affiliation, and your desired role in the project below the project’s post.
- Patiently wait for the formal approval from the AISDL mentor/coordinator.
If you have further inquiries, please contact us at aisdl_team@mindsponge.info.
If you have been invited to join a project by an AISDL member, you are still strongly encouraged to complete the formal registration process outlined above.
Upon confirmation of your participation by the Mentor or Project Coordinator, you will receive access to all necessary resources for conducting the research and drafting the manuscript.
Following successful registration, several additional steps will be undertaken to ensure the smooth and effective completion of a BMF Collaborative Project, including:
- Discussion and Assignment Stage: At this initial stage, the project leader—typically an AISDL member serving as Mentor or Coordinator—assigns specific tasks to each participant and provides detailed guidance on how to carry them out. The project leader is responsible for defining the scope of work, setting deadlines, and facilitating coordination among team members. All participants are encouraged to engage in constructive discussions regarding the study’s content and contribute actively to shaping the research direction.
- Research Implementation Stage: Participants are expected to complete their assigned tasks within the agreed timelines. The project leader monitors progress, ensures timely execution, and provides both technical and editorial support as needed to maintain workflow continuity and research quality.
- Finalizing and Submission Stage: Upon task completion, the project leader consolidates the individual contributions, edits the manuscript, and ensures overall quality and coherence. Professor Quan-Hoang Vuong—a senior editor—will conduct a final review to validate the manuscript before submission. The target journal will be discussed and selected collaboratively. Authorship and contributorship will strictly follow the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), with the order of authorship (including first and corresponding authorship) determined based on the actual contributions of participants throughout the project.
- Revision Stage: If a revision is requested by the journal, the collaboration will resume from the Discussion and Assignment Stage, following the same structured process. The Mentor/Coordinator remains committed to supporting all collaborators throughout every round of peer review until successful publication.
The entire process outlined above will be conducted with full transparency, with all major updates and activities openly shared through accessible posts on the portal.
We look forward to collaborating with dedicated volunteers on future research endeavors.
